Chicago has set a record this past September, and not one to brag about. Since 2002, this record has not been matched until now. Fifty-nine murders and 362 gunshot victims occurred in the city with the strictest gun laws in the nation.
The Tribune reported that there were two consecutive weekends where more than 50 people were shot in September and August had more than 40 shootings every weekend.

I’m having trouble understanding people with this Chicago argument. Is your issue with the laws not working or Is it okay that Chicago has this many unregistered firearms? If the issue is that gun regulation does not work then you are not against the idea of it you just think it will fail. Then why not attempt to figure out a way to enforce it to fix that problem. Otherwise if the number of illegal firearms is alright with you then you’re just in denial that America is suffering a large problem.
Either way I don’t understand how allowing easy access to guns for anyone will in any way fix these problems. You people are not looking for a solution simply putting one down without giving it a chance.
I’ve not once heard how less regulation has helped any place effectively.
You also have to look at the demographics of this and all high murder cities.
How come the victims in chi town don’t get checks
So they can’t talk about how gun control has failed Chicago or NYC but they can talk about how it is the answer, if someone gets shot? People get shot in cities with gun control all the time, don’t be afraid to call the man out on his bulls*t, that’s why he gets away with it.
gun free zone ==FREE FIRE ZONE
good job Chicago you are number one again ! lol
the place is a black mark for Liberals SO THEY DONT WANT TO TALK ABOUT IT
Republican governors so what do expect.
