Chicago has set a record this past September, and not one to brag about. Since 2002, this record has not been matched until now. Fifty-nine murders and 362 gunshot victims occurred in the city with the strictest gun laws in the nation.
The Tribune reported that there were two consecutive weekends where more than 50 people were shot in September and August had more than 40 shootings every weekend.

Obviously not. But responsible gun owners will not be affected by gun regulation. Just because people are stubborn doesn’t give them the right to put others in more danger

People will always have to follow rules and they do everyday. There’s nothing wrong with a few that won’t affect law abiding citizens and will save lives
and now 6,000 prisoners with drug offenses r going to be released and this will make it worse
The NRA has literally put these ridiculous ideas in people’s heads to convince them that with a few safety regulations the government is going to try to take everyone’s guns and take over. They are extremists and somehow they have managed to skew everyone’s view of gun regulation. I don’t even know how those people are crazy and just rich so they do whatever they want

It’s all NRA messages and campaigning telling society what to believe. They’re giving people such a horrible view of gun regulation because they want the public to fight it so bad. Why because they have ridiculous extremist views. But most Americans are centrists so why do they let them corrupt their mind? It makes no sense
obama needs to go visit chicago for about a month….maybe we get lucky.
The NRA is not willing to compromise and that is what democracy is about there is a happy medium but southerners are being brainwashed into only seeing extremist views as liable options
