Chicago has set a record this past September, and not one to brag about. Since 2002, this record has not been matched until now. Fifty-nine murders and 362 gunshot victims occurred in the city with the strictest gun laws in the nation.
The Tribune reported that there were two consecutive weekends where more than 50 people were shot in September and August had more than 40 shootings every weekend.

No Jeff, that is not what I’m saying. What I am saying is that if there were strong, enforced, consistent gun laws across the country then we wouldn’t have people in Chicago going to the suburbs or people in New York going down south to get their guns. I don’t mind having a rational discussion and I am not a gun grabber. Jason, my point is that inconsistent access to guns and some lax or unenforced laws in some places are a part of the problem. Another part of the problem is that there are too many irrational responses from the pro group that causes the against group to view the pro group as unwilling to do anything. In my opinion that will eventually lead to the against group gaining ground.

Obama intentionally withheld this key piece of information. He went to that specific classroom because the US soldier who recently stopped terrorist attack in France was supposed to be in that classroom. He wasn’t there that day because appearing on a talk show that day.
But they (Obama) wants to take away your guns so that you can not defend yourself from people like that or from a tyrannise government.
