I recently re-watched an old movie called : “Judgement at Nuremberg.” It was a movie about the actual trial that took place.
Anyway Burt Lancaster’s character gave a very sobering testimonial about the days in Germany shortly before$#%&!@*and his$#%&!@*Regime came to power. And his discription of the political and social climate of that era, compared to what we have going on here in America right now, I found to be unsettling.
He said that in the days of pre$#%&!@*Germany, that Germany was a democracy, but it was torn by elements from within.
(History shows that that the Pre$#%&!@*German Republic, known as the Weimer Republic, had both a Left and Right wing political parties, and that there were extremists in both parties.)
That there was a feeling of disgrace and fear within the nation.
And he mentioned how$#%&!@*used patriotism to motivate people into doing his bidding.
Now think about the political and social climate we have today!
Democrats vs Republicans, Liberals VS Conservatives, (I say it like that since you identify as conservative, but not a Republican), Gun-banners VS Gun-owners.
Also, people today are taught to be ashamed of the USA, for the injustices it commited in the past, like what it did the the American Indians, the missles that were dropped on Hiroshima in WW2, and so on.
Racial prejudice and fear also grips people.
White VS Blacks, Mexicans, Asians, and visa-versa.
And because of different racially motivated crimes, as well as the sexually perverted crimes that are being commited against the innocent, people are in fear of their neighbors.
Now many are JUSTIFIABLY tired and angry over these issues, and want society to progress past such things.
And many see traditional/conservative values as being the problem. Therefore many don’t subscribe to traditional values anymore, nor seem to care for those who hold to said values. Many see these ideals as archaic, and no longer compatible with the modern world, and those that hold to said values to be a hindrance to such progress.
And if those individuals who feel that way, especially those in power, were to get into a position of say “absolute power”, imagine the carnage they could wreak on society? Some of them who are in power already seem to hold the attitude: “What difference does it make if a few people with religious or conservative values lose their rights, if they and their beliefs stand in the way of progress?”
So ask yourself, could the same thing that happened in$#%&!@*Germany, or something very similar, happen here in America and all in the name of progress?
Now I know many will say that$#%&!@*Germany was a long time ago. And that things have changed quite a bit since then. And while it’s true that certain things have indeed changed, you know what hasn’t changed since then? People!
People are just the same now as they were back then, in that they had the same basic ideas, feelings, dreams, goals, and fears that people of today have, regardless of what country they’re from. That is why often times history seemingly repeats itself.
For the time being we have our freedoms, which allows us to think, say, and to act as we choose to. But already there are elements in this country that are working to undermine those things, to regulate and dictate to us what we can think, say, and do. And there are people in political office right now, who are trying to dismantle the Bill of Rights, which gives us a LEGAL GARUNTEE that our human-rights will be protected and upheld.
And if these people succeed in doing that, then what do you think will be the future of people here in America, both Liberal and Conservative? How long do you think it will be then, before the Government is regulating our speech, before it is regulating our very lives? If the Bill of Rights is destroyed, and our firearms are confiscated by the Government, then what is to stop the Government from doing something similar to what$#%&!@* or Stalin did?
For the sake of argument, say after disarming American citizens, the Government did start rounding up people with conservative values and started putting them in detention camps, where they were being treated worse than dogs in the streets.
And say many good-hearted people who are Liberal begin saying among themselves: “Just because I disagreed with those people on social and economic issues, doesn’t mean I want to see them being treated this way. They don’t deserve this, this wrong! I didn’t bargain for this. Let them out!”, and thus they began protesting.
In that case, what do think the Government would do to them?
Why it would surely toss them into the camps as well, because they are questioning it, and labeling them as traitors for doing so.
The whole point to the 2nd amendment is to give us a protection, that so if the Government should ever turn tyrannical, that the citizens of America could protect and defend themselves.
Now I’m NOT saying such a thing will happen.
But with the way things are going, I think it is certainly a possibility.
The Second Amendment gives people a legal right to protect themselves from such a future.
And that as why the Bill of Rights, including the 2nd amendment, need to be preserved, protected, and defended.

The more I think about this the more I rhino it exemplifies the brainwashing of moderns. ….as if Commies were harmless libertarians wholly safe to entrust with victory and those whobresisted them the fearsome danger. As though we had these wonderful fruits from our destruction of a kindred people rather than the enslavement of ALL of our most precious institutions to the vilest n of the earth. As thou we were sitting here reaping wonderful fruits rather than on the every precipice of horrendous calamities and the full reward for our brainless support of evil.
