It is absolutely essential for elections to have integrity for our form of government to work. This is not the old Soviet Union where the joke was made that, “someone broke into the Kremlin and stole the results of the next election.” This is the United States, where the free vote with accurate and honest counting is not only to be expected, but is essential.
Unfortunately, this is not the universal experience. Chicago has been the butt of jokes about holding crooked elections for decades. And that’s not the only place where the validity of the vote counts are in question. California, with all of its illegal migrants, was accused of being a rich source of voter fraud in this past election.
We can also add another state to the list of jurisdictions where the integrity of the vote is in question. See page two.
That’s because he is protecting those that committed voter fraud.

LET’S TRAVEL BACK IN TIME!
If you want to truly appreciate what a dangerous, toxic, steaming$#%&!@*Trump is, look where we were at this point in the Obama administration.
So let’s go back in time. Spring 2009, with our new President, Obama.
In his first year, Obama won 96.7 percent of his votes in Congress, an all-time record.
Obama assembled an amazing team that included Biden, Clinton, Bob Gates, Eric Holder, Vilsack, Republican Ray LaHood, Shinseki, Napolitano, Susan Rice, Salazar, Chu, Holbrooke, James Jones, Dennis Blair, George Mitchell, Robert Mueller, Dennis Ross, Lawrence Summers. He even persuaded Arlen Specter to switch to the Democratic party.
Obama proceeded to pass the stimulus which saved or created millions of jobs, saved more than a million jobs and pretty much the entire Midwest with the auto bailout, launched the TARP bank rescue and recovered almost all of its costs, helped refinance mortgages and prevent foreclosures, gave tax credits to first-time home buyers, fought deceptive practices by credit card companies, expanded lending to small businesses, persuaded the G-20 countries to put a trillion dollars into fighting the global money crisis, saved 300,000 education jobs, saved thousands of police and firefighter jobs, and increased food aid.
And drafted plans to order bailout executives to cut their salaries, passed major Wall Street reforms, pushed for measures to close tax evasion loopholes, persuaded Swiss banks to surrender records of tax cheats, set up the consumer protection bureau, increased food safety.
And plans to pass the bill requiring equal pay for women, a sane government budget, and ethics rules to block lobbyists. He proceeded to repair FEMA, raised fuel efficiency standards, lifted the ban on stem cell research, expanded child care and student loans, signed the hate crimes law, lifted the ban on funds to groups that provide abortion counseling, and audited government contracts for fraud.
And Obama repaired America’s image, repaired relations with the Muslim world, closed secret prisons, ordered the closure of Guantanamo, banned the use of torture, stopped Israel from bombing Iran. He proceeded to get body armor for our troops, set free the stop-loss soldiers, phased out outdated weapons systems, strengthened our military units in Afghanistan, outlined the plan to leave Iraq, and redirected the war on terror to actually target the top terrorist, Usama bin Laden.
And handling the things which a normal President can manage, which Trump cannot: weekly addresses, a joint session of Congress, the Summit of the Americas. Peeing and pooping by himself, for that matter.
So it was a happy time in May 2009.
Now, May 2017. And Trump.
Trump surrounded himself with an appalling crowd of crooks and incompetents. Trump and his team are already being investigated by the DOJ, Treasury, the FEC and at least two Congressional committees to verify that they colluded with a foreign adversary to steal an election. All these guys are about to be buried in legal fees. It’s going to get worse because Trump has hired a really bad lawyer who will give him really bad advice.
Trump has already been caught interfering with the FBI Director, the special counsel, the Office of Government Ethics, NSA and DNI, to obstruct investigations into his crimes. His termination of the FBI Director was an obvious, provable crime.
Trump has blurted out sensitive intelligence information three times already, twice to representatives of dictatorial regimes, thus ensuring that our intelligence partners will stop cooperating with us. He blurted out the identity of the Manchester bomber before the Brits were ready to release it, making it harder for the cops to find the bombers, and easier for the bombers to hide until they launch their next attack.
Meanwhile our security partners will also stop working with us because Trump has ridiculed networks like NATO and intends to demand money from the countries he thinks he’s protecting.
His insane plan to take health care from millions of people stalled in Congress; his planned attacks on Social Security and health care programs may stall there too, as well as his idiotic Mexico wall which both parties hate. Congress didn’t have to block his unconstitutional travel ban because the courts blocked it first. Trump’s first budget contained an error — a two trillion dollar error. Trump has flipflopped on almost every major issue, and people are starting to notice.
He took part in Mitch McConnell’s effort to steal a Supreme Court seat. So he did succeed in that.
