As the issue of child marriage gains more attention, New Jersey legislators decided to do something about it and passed a bill that would prohibit marriage of any children under age 18.
Governor Chris Christie was handed the opportunity to make New Jersey the first state to officially ban child marriage without exception.
Nancy Munoz, the bill’s main sponsor, is a Republican assemblywoman from Union. She introduced the bill after hearing testimony in committee hearings about children being forced into marriage “for religious reasons.”
Under current New Jersey law, children under age 16 can be legally married with parental consent and approval from a sympathetic judge.

Some “traditions” need to be violated. How would you feel of your niece, daughter or granddaughter were a victim of this “religious tradition”? GROW A SET!
Terrible would you let your child get married and suffer like that even possible death.
Muslim customs & culture have no place in America! Get these radical people out of our Country. We do not tolerate abuse, murder, & these evils done to children! Bunch of perverts preying on children!

It would break our traditions if you allow that! I guess illegals have priority over us!
