Our constitution was effectively re-written once again this week, as a group of liberal judges on the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals decided that the right to gun ownership in public is not protected by the constitution. It makes one wonder, if judges think that the ability to carry a gun isn’t a constitutional right, what does the Second Amendment protect?
This ruling is further proof of the dire need this country has for conservative judge appointments, and no sitting Governor seems more aware of this than Texas Governor Greg Abbott.
In a tweet attacking the senseless conceal carry decision, Abbott leveled a clear threat, “come and get it.”
Unfortunately for the Governor, state executives and legislators are being stripped of their rights to create and enforce the laws in their own states. Instead, activist judges have decided to grant themselves lawmaking power in order to push their personal agendas.

Say when….
Come work where I work at
A TEXAS PRISON. Not all the criminals are locked up for life. Also in few reform. Of course I am not armed inside the prison. But outside, where the use of force rules inside don’t apply. I have the ability to defend myself. Am I 100% certain I will come out of a criminal assault okay. No I am not. But wearing seatbelts in an auto doesn’t mean 100% safety either. But just like seatbelts, being armed raises my chances of surviving.
Don – Thank you for supporting my point regarding the VPC’s “statistic”.
You are correct, suicide and accidental are not violent crimes but VPC included them to bolster and skew their “statistics”.
Using skewed and seriously manipulated numbers does not make for good data, and I’m glad to see you understand that including accidental and self inflected as”violent”, as VPC does (on virtually everything they put out) is wrong.
But if their claims were remotely factual how do you explain Chicago, Detroit, Washington DC, Newark, Oakland, Los Angeles, or any of the other ultra restrictive cities? Seems their very violent crime rates kinda dispel that VPC claim as well.
Cherry pick your data much?
Don – Interesting little factoid for you: Violent crime rates across the United States have dropped, with the exception of the aforementioned cities, where it has dramatically increased.
So, again, if the VPC’s proclaimed “statistics” were remotely correct how would you explain – aside from liberalise – that?
If anyone should be president it is the governor of Texas. No better Governor that I have seen in my life.
