Jeff Gray, a long time activist in recording police, has recently released a video showing how he got through DUI checkpoints without saying a word.
His novel idea was to hang a plastic bag outside his rolled up window with the following:
1 – A message stating:
I remain silent
No searches
I want my lawyer
2 – DriverĀ“s license
3 – Registration
4 – Insurance Information
How did police respond upon his pulling up to the checkpoints with this bag hanging outside his car?

When they wave ,wave back ,smile and continue travel, worked for me 3 times already
Check points are for the general public’s safety. This guy is showing drunk drivers how to circumvent the process that was instituted in an effort to protect people. Suppose this guy drives off and then gets smoked by an actual drunk driver that just pulled his same trick?
Only 30 percent of wrecks are alcohol related, the rest dumb beotches I presume
Freedom isn’t free, there will always be casualties,Cleanse your mind of the chains of tyranny
Officer
I am an American citizen born with inalienable rights, Life,I have my gun,Liberty,,my vehicle, and the pursuit of happiness, Have a nice day officer,.lol
I am not sure I follow what you are saying. Would you feel the same if it was your spouse, son, or daughter that was one of the casualties from someone who said I exercised my right to not talk to police because I was drinking and driving to slip through a check point?
Why check everyone and not patrolling for real
Please show me zee papers
Yep it’s better not to have them. Oh wait, until it’s your family that’s smeared all over the pavement from a DUI driver that could have been prevented.
Drunk driving is unacceptable, however road blocks open doors , literally, to random searches without probable cause. I think that is the issue.
