Jeff Gray, a long time activist in recording police, has recently released a video showing how he got through DUI checkpoints without saying a word.
His novel idea was to hang a plastic bag outside his rolled up window with the following:
1 – A message stating:
I remain silent
No searches
I want my lawyer
2 – DriverĀ“s license
3 – Registration
4 – Insurance Information
How did police respond upon his pulling up to the checkpoints with this bag hanging outside his car?

Police arent currently the problem so this is stupid
They aren’t a problem for YOU. The rest of us don’t feel the same.
I think this is a great idea, but what if a cop gets ticked off, and tells you to roll down your window or else. Then if you don’t, they will accuse you of disobeying a Law Inforcers request. I say this because I know there are $#%&!@*y Officers out there. I give thumbs up to the Law abiding Officers of this land, and I pray for their protection.
Cue the people who refuse to pop the police phallus out of there mouths
Very stupid article.
“Um excuse me sir, you have a taillight out, can you step out of the car so I can show you. Oh, it came back on when you slammed your door. Get that checked, and by the way have you been drinking?” Or sir, I’m citing you for driving with an obstruction over your drivers window, it’s a hazard. Put the window down and sign here. Problem solved.
My luck they would’ve broke my window out and assaulted me and then charge me with assault on them!!… haha
Just be courteous and do what they ask. They have a job to do. Don’t make it any harder.
