The State of Georgia has filed a lawsuit against the owner of the website Public.Resource.org for – brace yourself – publishing state laws online.
Within the lawsuit, Carl Malamud is being labeled a ‘terrorist’ by the state of Georgia for posting an annotated version of the entire state body of law.
Under what guise is Georgia suing? This gets even more offensive…

So they say ignorance is no excuse for the law a citizen of a state of the US publishes newly released lols to help educate citizens of the state on new legislation and he is arrested for it so does that in fact mean that ignorance would be a fair and legally justifiable excuse of breaking the law because it seems that if one were to get educated they may be persecuted so which would carry a shorter sentence the persecution of knowledge or the ignorance of being uninformed
