This video details how to make a super-efficient water heater thermo siphoning process. Not only are all the parts he uses cheap or free discards, the project does not need electricity or solar power.
To match this video you will need:
Copper Tubing
Stove Pipe
Water heater
Valves
And of course, water and something to burn.
See the process video after the break and then get started on your own source of endless hot water:
200′ of black garden hose coiled on your roof will get you plenty of hot water on sunny days. And makes a great pool heater with a low volume pump
It’s called a still. It would be great if every home had one. It would put companies making liquor out of business. Not bad hot water and booze.
thats how i make my spirits
thanks for the information

just a heat exchanger Christopher Blank… not too impressed lol
Brad King, if you have a wife, three kids and dishes to wash after all five of you ate and had to get baths before bedtime, a pot on a woodstove ain’t gonna cut it at all. It’ll be enough for coffee or tea, but in a grid down situation, this would help to keep clean and such. Ric Archbold, how did you arrive at $1500? I did the math and came up with less than a hundred bucks. You can easily get a salvaged water heater for free on Craigslist because people just want someone to get their old one outta there and since this is a “grid down” preparation, simple sticks from a wooded area would suffice short term. The guy who did this video wasn’t suggesting this as a permanent means of heating water. So… Having examined all the facts, this is in my opinion, a good idea that costs little money to help in the instance of a several day power outage or even a few weeks. Not to mention, the guy is trying to give people ideas that may help them in the future if they decide to try it. Don’t shoot the guy down just because you see it differently. Create a video yourself showing people how YOU can help with innovative ideas to improvise in a grid down situation. Just my idea of what makes sense.
UHHHH, make fire….boil water
