This video details how to make a super-efficient water heater thermo siphoning process. Not only are all the parts he uses cheap or free discards, the project does not need electricity or solar power.
To match this video you will need:
Copper Tubing
Stove Pipe
Water heater
Valves
And of course, water and something to burn.
See the process video after the break and then get started on your own source of endless hot water:
Just pour some gas on yourself and light it up. That would be just great.

Build me one
My dad has been using a system similar while hinting for years. Old keg (top removed), copper tubing and a camp fire. Build your fire on top of the copper tube.
Heating water with fire! Awesome. Who thought of that? Oh, the Neanderthals? Must be some secret German think tank. Glad we got it for us.
O i thought we were making shine
This has been around for a very long time…old news…common sense. …oh yeah. Some folks need to be told to come in out of the rain…hot water for dummies?
Duh?
It’s not a still, officer, it’s my water heater
Be careful folks. He would have been better to run the return line into the cold water in on the top, with a check above that. Most, not all, electric tanks have the pressure relief on the top and it looks like that’s where he ran the return to. DO NOT ELIMINATE THE PRESSURE RELIEF. View the myth busters episode if you want to see how a water heater will explode without it. And if he’s pumping 180* water back into that, that could very well happen.
