This video details how to make a super-efficient water heater thermo siphoning process. Not only are all the parts he uses cheap or free discards, the project does not need electricity or solar power.
To match this video you will need:
Copper Tubing
Stove Pipe
Water heater
Valves
And of course, water and something to burn.
See the process video after the break and then get started on your own source of endless hot water:
We had a wood Santa that did the same thing
Looks like he used 3/8 tubing. I would have made all connections a minimum of 1/2″ but I prefer 3/4″ and larger coil amount.
YES! We see the Steam!!!
good way to blow up a water heater if you arent careful.
He had the top of the tank open…
This would work with a few tricks for a shower. I would have to build it elevated (above head level) and have 2 water holding tanks. 1 for the hot and 1 for cold. Plumb it up where you could mix cold and hot water together to adjust temp. Ball valves to regulate water and a shower head. Boom! I think it was a good useful video.
You can use a separate tank of fresh water and the regular heat source for your home too.
Oh wow, he invented the tankless water heater. Oh wait somebody did that like 200 years ago.
Chrissy Edgley Bezold just a idea for the farm.
They are talking about thermal circulation. So it could be used in a hot water radiant heat source. While stoking that little fire would be insane, but if you’re already running a coal or wood stove for heat, adding baseboard radiant heaters could help distribute the heat evenly throughout your house.
Such a good idea. Not to rely on city power. Rely on yourself, wow, what a concept.
