This video details how to make a super-efficient water heater thermo siphoning process. Not only are all the parts he uses cheap or free discards, the project does not need electricity or solar power.
To match this video you will need:
Copper Tubing
Stove Pipe
Water heater
Valves
And of course, water and something to burn.
See the process video after the break and then get started on your own source of endless hot water:
There is a fire in a watee heater already its called the pilot.light
Go simple way for hot water.!!
awsome
Or just sell the copper and buy a heater?
Haha Greg Zucconi, the pilot light doesn’t heat the water at all. It only lights the burner when the thermostat kicks in..
As to heating the water in the heater with wood, that may work but would smoke too much for the size of the heaters exhaust. Plus, if electric, where would it heat exhaust?
My guess is, this is intended to be a backup for when the power/gas goes out?
If you have a woodstove and run your waterline through it, and run the water into your waterheater you’ll save a fortune.
This is the same principle as the outside wood furnaces… They heat water which not only heats your home and your hot water. Nothing new, just a cheaper way to do it.
the “greeneys” won’t like the CO2 your creating, but who cares. LOL I new some folks back in the 70’s that had a water heater tank w/o the insulation mounted on a stand, on the side was a small tank that they would fill w/used motor oil. The oil would drip out the bottom into a flame under the tank and heat the water.
Neat
This is beyond awesome!Jarred Wideman dude this is freaking great!
