Once again, the liberal media is proving that there’s no such thing as unbiased news reporting. In the wake of all the cases involving same-sex couples being turned down by county clerks and businesses, it would seem the tables have been drastically turned. This time it’s a gay judge refusing to perform straight weddings. And what are the legal repercussions for such an act? The answer is simple . . . nothing. Where’s the outrage? Where’s the government interference? It’s non-existent, because they’re pretending the problem doesn’t exist.

Mark, Ray is right. There is no law requiring her to perform marriages. She is a presiding district court judge, her job does not require her to marry anyone.

She can’t refuse to marry a couple BECAUSE they are heterosexual, and then perform a homosexual ceremony. That is biased, and goes against the new law. You can choose to perform NO ceremonies at all, or perform all types of ceremonies. The law is simple NONE or ALL.
Talk about abuse of power to fit your own agenda, who does she think she is, obonkers ?
Two things:
1) there is no law requiring a judge to marry anyone. It is something they are allowed to do, but not a requirement.
2). The Supreme Court ruling (which happened two years after this judge did this) requires the law to be applied equally to all people. By refusing to marry ANYONE, she was following the law.
