Social media has been buzzing with the story of how a flight attendant on a US Airways flight refused to hang the jacket of highly decorated Special Forces soldier, First Sgt. Albert Marle, to keep it from being wrinkled.
The airline has issued an apology and is currently looking for the Marle to handle the matter personally.
If you know First Sgt. Albert Marle please contact US Airways.

Insane!! Send him to another country!
yes she should be fired
Fire fire fire her sorry butt
Fire the flight attendant
Chop her neck off! Maybe that will raise their attention!
She shouldn’t treat ANYBODY so rudely. Fire her on the spot.
I have a better idea than firing her , make her go to a hospital where our veterans are being treated for the wounds they received in their service of our country , for at least 500 hours .
Sorry, but yes!
As a former-Army Ranger (reasonably well decorated), I cannot altogether conceive why the 1st Sergeant would even book a cross country flight in coach and then wear his heavily-medaled Class-A uniform to begin with. Most soldiers would not, unless they knew they had the comfort of a 1st-Class cabin seat and room to store their blouse. I believe the 1st Sgt should have dressed more comfortably and appropriately for the flight. That said, not having been there, I cannot reasonably respond to the actions of the flight attendant, but asking for his/her head on a platter or that they be disciplined to the point of termination and loss of their job, I doubt their action – or inaction – should rise to that level. I clearly understand that the 1st Sgt was both hurt, insulted and seriously miffed, as I would have been were it been me. But wearing Class-A blues on a commercial flight seems a bit extraordinary to me and not something you see done very often, even by an officer, much less an enlisted NCO. Civilian clothes or ADUs would have been more appropriate, I think; after all, Rangers Lead the Way!
The First Sergeant needs to book another flight first class and if he feels that he needs to wear his uniform jacket than rent a car and drive himself to wherever place it may be instead of going to jail and disrespecting the U.S. Army title look I’m a sergeant of the military police department in Fort Bragg, North Carolina (formerly) but if someone ask me to hang it up until we reach out destination than I’ll do it no one is going to steal that jacket
