President Theodore Roosevelt, also a Republican, signed a bill that banned practicing Muslims from entering the United States after he won the election in 1904. He won that election with 336 electoral votes, 190 more than his challenger, Alton B. Parker.

That is such a lie. There is nothing in that law that contains the phrase “entire Mohammedan world” and nothing other than banning “polygamists” that even remotely pertained to Muslims. For the record, the Prophet said to not have more than 4 wives, and only to marry more than one woman if the husband can take care of them all equally and treat them all equally.
Edit: He can become a citizen. He won’t be denied citizenship. It’s just that only his FIRST marriage will be legally valid, and legally recognized. If he wants to be married to 8 women at once, then he should go to a country where that’s legal. There are many good things about living in the US, but when you’re here, you are subject to US law. He will have to decide whether he prefers to live in the US with only one legal wife, or living somewhere else where he can have all 8 married to him at once.
