The government of Angola has been accused of “banning Islam” by the Islamic Community of Angola (ICA) after authorities closed down all but a few unlicensed mosques in the capital city of Luanda.
There are legal penalties for women who wear the iconic veil and social pressure from both government authorties and private citizens for Muslims to leave the country. Angola does not recognize Islam as an Angolan religion as there are not enough Muslims to meet the required 100,000 members or presence in 12 of 18 provinces.
The government of Angola justified their policies, saying that Islam is an “invasion of Angolan culture and a threat to Christian values.” Muslims have been asked to tear down their own mosques under threat of paying for the demolition fees. The Angolan government has also denied that is has tried to ban Islam, stating that “there is no position that targets the destruction or closure of places of worship.”

Communism was not worldwide, either. But it had almost half the world in its grip, and what prevented it from going really worldwide would have been men who were men back then. The likes of MacArthur, and Eisenhower, and Kennedy, and Reagan. They did have practicioners here in the States, then. Islam is worldwide already, from the Philippines, to Indonesia, to China, to Russia and surrounding countries, all over the Middle East, as we know. The difference between Islam and Communism was that the former was outright atheist, having been founded in modern times, while the former is known and recognized as a “religion”, having been founded at a time when any country’s vocabulary did not include the word “ideology”. But they both have the same goals, the furtherance of what they believe in, the conquest of other countries, and subjugation of these countries. The both even use the same methods: use of above-ground organizations like the CAIR, and the Brotherhood, and the Mosques, who hold you down with legalesque while the armed components kill you.
