Love your reply except saying that old people are a burden on society. They paid into the fund that their Social Security income is taken from and most live independently off that income. And it should be considered by the younger generation that these elders cared for them as helpless babies, supported and guided them for 18 years to adulthood, but did not refer to them as “burdens” on themselves or on society when, in all reality, they could have seen it that way. Family is family and in the end that is all that matters. In some cultures the elders of society are revered and respected and they should be so regarded in this country as well. They have earned it.

The ‘Old People’ she wants to get rid of have been contributing members of society for decades and have paid for the Social Security they have coming to them in their final years. They have paid their dues and they have ac$#%&!@*ulated wisdom she would not possess if she could (God forbid) live for 10,000 years. Getting this concept across to her would be an exercise in futility — trying to cram a 100 lb idea into a 2 ounce brain is obviously a pointless waste of time. What might she think of next — euthanasia vans to get rid of all children? It would appear that she wants to kill off the most vulnerable people so why wouldn’t kids be next on her hit list? Her words were spoken like a true soul-less, heartless, and utterly selfish sociopathic Republican whose motive is to rob people of THEIR money. If the fluff head were capable of logical rational thought it would occur to her that the money being taken out of her checks — if she works, that is–for Social Security are intended for HER own social security in her elder years and if she had a soul she would realize how it would make her feel to have some bimbo announce that Euthanasia Vans should be sent around to snuff HER life out.
