Michelle Obama is not a nutritionist. She is not a doctor. And she is not elected. Yet she is pushing the way school children eat, and imposing rules that her own children do not have to adhere to through the Healthy, Hunger-Free Kids Act which was passed in 2010. And it is the Obama way to change behavior by force without input from those most affected.
The idea of improving school lunches was a fine idea, and there were surely a raft of consultants who weighed in on the program development. But as is the case with so many government attempts to butt in where it is not wanted, the program has been a dismal failure.
The new food choices are abysmal and exceedingly meager. So bad, in fact, that the internet has been flooded with pictures taken by school children of food that is generally unidentifiable, unappetizing, and plain old inedible.
This by kids who often depend for their nutritional needs to be met by meals served at school. Sodium, sugar, white grains, and condiments are limited or prohibited. Food that school children like to eat has essentially disappeared.
Millions of school provided meals are ending up in the trash can, and a black market for salt, sugar, and other items has developed at many schools. And incredibly, the cost for serving these bland, unappetizing and unwanted meals is costing more than expected. Given the fact that a state like Alabama was given over $210 million by the Federal government to serve these meals, it is truly astonishing that the program is over budget.
Additionally, over 1.4 million school children have stopped eating school lunches since the program was started. But Michelle and the government have a plan. It is called force.

Michelle Obama put in place a new food schedule for schools but when the kids were noticed throwing away that food and taking out food they brought from home. All that food that was thrown away by the kids could have been given to many other places that needed it. Obama got wind that the schools didn’t want the menus that she offered so he got pissed off and wanted to make the schools pay for not respecting his wife so what does he do, he starts fining schools that fail to follow Michelle’s directives. In all my years as a voter and citizen of this country and a veteran of this country, I watch the fall of a great country due to the fact that this is the worst President of all times and I thought Nixon was bad. How and why has people in position in this country not ordered an impeachment article against this President. Why has no one proposed anything to the people of this United State to have an emergency voting to rid this man of power and those that carried out his orders knowing that they are not only wrong but unconstitutional. Him and his Executive Orders is totally out of range as to what it was to be used for. Will no one champion this cause? Will no one bring this man to task? Will someone do something? Will everyone with power continue to look the other way? What will the President do next? Who will he be proud to stand with next? How far will one President sell out his country? The black and hispanic and the white all thought that this would be the first black President and help out all sides and instead he just screwed EVERYONE. You wonder why no one in this country is happy or satisfied, it is because no one GOT ANYTHING except for the guy we voted into office and he is sure playing it up on our tax dollars. OH WHEN WILL IT STOP?
