Even though Wal-Mart is a colossal money maker, it barely pays it’s workers enough to live comforably, forcing employees to go on food stamps, Medicaid and other social welfare programs.
Wal-Mart pulls in $36 million dollars per hour – being the largest seller of food in the world. Yet, they don’t take care of their employees.
Through your tax dollars you are, in essence, handing a Wal-Mart cashier your money but not even getting so much as an empty bag in return.

As long as they do not apply for and advance to managerial positions, just like anywhere else.
I think that losing their jobs not too long after the end of that six months is getting to be pretty much the norm for a lot of companies anymore.
Some people have no family to help them and have to work.

Unless you been there don’t judge.
The problem is that in a lot of the country the majority of jobs available are “entry level” paying jobs. Often they run out sometime after they get to the cut off for federal subsidies.
But I can’t see that as Walmart’s problem, more like 8 years of the last adminstration letting jobs leave and happy to put more folks on public dole, so as to make more Democratic voters
