Even though Wal-Mart is a colossal money maker, it barely pays it’s workers enough to live comforably, forcing employees to go on food stamps, Medicaid and other social welfare programs.
Wal-Mart pulls in $36 million dollars per hour – being the largest seller of food in the world. Yet, they don’t take care of their employees.
Through your tax dollars you are, in essence, handing a Wal-Mart cashier your money but not even getting so much as an empty bag in return.

A living wage is sorely needed for millions, bear in mind that we like Walmart because of their low prices. Higher wages mean higher prices. There is no good solution.

What torques my jaws is articles like this. EVERY E5 and below in the military is eligible for food stamps. Yeah. The ones who protect this country is worse off than the Walmart employees you are so in love with. Assholes

Wal-Mart pays better than some places. Here in PA, they starting employees at $11 per hour. I love my job, so I’m not about to jump shol, but I can say our employees don’t start at that.
