Even though Wal-Mart is a colossal money maker, it barely pays it’s workers enough to live comforably, forcing employees to go on food stamps, Medicaid and other social welfare programs.
Wal-Mart pulls in $36 million dollars per hour – being the largest seller of food in the world. Yet, they don’t take care of their employees.
Through your tax dollars you are, in essence, handing a Wal-Mart cashier your money but not even getting so much as an empty bag in return.

If I were president that subsidy would come to an end.
Ask Al SHARPTON he can tell you about Wal-Mart !
Fully agree , saved me a lot of typing
??
Boo Hoo, those people would be on welfare anyway! At leas they are working! How much money do you expect to make when you have no marketable skills or education?
Why do you single out Wal-Mart? All the big corporations recieve huge tax breaks, and regulation exemptions from the government. If you’re crying about Wal-Mart’s pay scale, you should be including all the low-skill, minimum education jobs in the country. This is silly. Another propaganda post for a socialist society.
From “Activists Post”– really? Another Socialist rag whose strategy it is to divide and conquer America; pittling one American against the other, the haves v the have-nots, rich v poor, men v women, white v black, etc. If you don’t like WalMart shop someplace else. They will then either change or fade away. Capitalism works — if govt stays out of the way.
Once again single out walmart. All the big box stores get huge tax breaks and pay the employee’s bupkis.
Is there a law that say the government must pay these corporations all this money. If they have ti something is wrong. Look at what they did for General Electric and General Motors . Its O.K. to help with a load but to just give it away to any company is WRONG.
stop going to walmart all the big companies are doing the same and our goverment can,t even take care of its miltary and its own homless people
