Even though Wal-Mart is a colossal money maker, it barely pays it’s workers enough to live comforably, forcing employees to go on food stamps, Medicaid and other social welfare programs.
Wal-Mart pulls in $36 million dollars per hour – being the largest seller of food in the world. Yet, they don’t take care of their employees.
Through your tax dollars you are, in essence, handing a Wal-Mart cashier your money but not even getting so much as an empty bag in return.

The ENEMY
We need to boycott Walmart.
UNREAL. 36 MILLION AN HOUR. MINDBOGLING!!!
Still a bit cheap for turning trader to one’s country. 🙁
You’re missing the whole point, Vera!!!
Wal~Mart how could you do this to your employees ? I have shopped at one of your stores for many years . Treating your employees like this , it makes me sorry I have put my money into your business , your pocket ! I thought maybe you would have a change of heart , & start being smart & using your knowledge . Don’t make your employees sorry they work for you .
Walmart is no better or worse than any other non-skilled job. I worked for near minimum wages at a highklt skilled job. But it was a nonprofit organization. That was why they said I was under paid. Any raises I got were 5 or 10 cents an hour until the next minimum wage hike came. Then I got a $.50 per hour raise.
Only one thing to say Mark. Amen brother. You hit the nail on the head. And all this talk of a boycott. How ridiculous. Does anyone seriously believe your silly little boycott is going to hurt Walmart? The only thing it will hurt are the very people you are foolishly trying to help.
That doesn’t even nick the costs of stolen good, employee wages to clean up the stores after the trashy customers invade, or security personnel and cameras to minimize the loss….don’t forget those wonderful children in Phoenix who set fire to Walmart stores because their parents didn’t like big, non-union businesses.
Wow
