Even though Wal-Mart is a colossal money maker, it barely pays it’s workers enough to live comforably, forcing employees to go on food stamps, Medicaid and other social welfare programs.
Wal-Mart pulls in $36 million dollars per hour – being the largest seller of food in the world. Yet, they don’t take care of their employees.
Through your tax dollars you are, in essence, handing a Wal-Mart cashier your money but not even getting so much as an empty bag in return.

There are a lot of people working for Walmart, why is that? Is it because there are too many people and too few jobs?
There are low income families that work all kinds of places and get assistance in food, housing etc. that shop everywhere and I bet most of those businesses get tax breaks from the government not just Walmart! They get the tax breaks because of the assistance the government and state offers to those families in return paying it back to the communities by shopping at those stores in which keeps jobs out there for people, oh and by the way Walmart does pay benefits and they do pay decent if you put hard work and time in. If you don’t have an education or work experience you have to start somewhere!
And I choose http://amazon.com over Walmart because of better products and services
I know differently from what you think
I totally despise Walmart I do not go there unless it is a last resort
What the f’–is going on
F**e news!
its not wallmarts fault that these people live beyond there means. and they should not be getting wellfare because they have children they can’t afford. sterilise them would be a lot cheaper.
This is a prime example of f**e news. If Truth & Action has been following wal mart they would know this company is investing BILLIONS in salary upgrades for their hourly employees plus BILLIONS more in employee training and development for a faster career track to better higher paying positions. The article alludes to other retail employees having to apply for assistance and welfare the article fails to mention the other retailers by name, instead their entire focus was demeaning Wal Mart which appears to be a deliberate attempt to do financial harm to Wal Mart.
Check your facts!!! First very old story and second no different than fast food employers and many other entry level jobs/ employers. This is just what 45 continues to push with his big money appointments
