Even though Wal-Mart is a colossal money maker, it barely pays it’s workers enough to live comforably, forcing employees to go on food stamps, Medicaid and other social welfare programs.
Wal-Mart pulls in $36 million dollars per hour – being the largest seller of food in the world. Yet, they don’t take care of their employees.
Through your tax dollars you are, in essence, handing a Wal-Mart cashier your money but not even getting so much as an empty bag in return.

That’s not right the corruption in this country really needs to be fixed to much going on
Kroger, K-Mart, Target all the big box stores do this and all of the employees are on some type of government assistance paid for by you, the American Taxpayer. Basically they are making the profits they are because the government is by default supporting them.

This is absolute nonsense. Editorial garbage! If you are willing in your life to simply peddle along on minimum wage jobs, it is your fault! Wal-Mart is not responsible for that. It is not like you live in a country where you have no choice. And as well, public assistance? Other people’s hard earned dollars to help support the continuation of bad decisions? Get two part time kind if necessary! In the past, I myself have done so. For a period of time I juggled 3.
So stop stealing other people’s money. Work on getting a trade, or advancing some education, and work up to better paid jobs.
Life is not easy, so get over it!
And as for TRUTH AND ACTION, this blog is an example of left wing bogus incitement.
I encourage all readers to RID YOURSELVES OF NOTIFICATIONS FROM TRUTH AND ACTION!
If you don’t want to work there, QUIT.
Stop imeditly!!!!
This is garbage, Walmart pays better than most other retail stores, why don’t you talk Target or sears or k-mart ?
Wow!
Is it the employers responsibility to not only pay their employee, but also all the kids they have? Only in America do you make money from having kids instead of them costing you money.
Walmart is a place like many others where you can get started in the job force. It’s your choice whether or not you want to stay and make a career out of it. I worked at Walmart for 15 years and worked my way up to a good wage while there and I know many people that started as hourly workers part and full time that are now shift managers/ store managers even market managers that probably make more than most of you bashing on this article. Moral is you put the effort (hard work, dedication and education) in you will get rewarded in any field of work you decide to go into!
