Even though Wal-Mart is a colossal money maker, it barely pays it’s workers enough to live comforably, forcing employees to go on food stamps, Medicaid and other social welfare programs.
Wal-Mart pulls in $36 million dollars per hour – being the largest seller of food in the world. Yet, they don’t take care of their employees.
Through your tax dollars you are, in essence, handing a Wal-Mart cashier your money but not even getting so much as an empty bag in return.

its kinda bad that the people can’t make a good living from wal-mart and have to depend on the government to help them like food stamps and other welfare? walmart is rich and their workers are poor
No wonder we are so far in debt! I won’t shop there again!
Wal-Mart is not forcing ANYONE to work there. If you don’t like the wages get a better education and a better job and stop complaining.
If everyone had such conviction we could really make a difference !
How much do they pay to farmers, renewable energy, transportation, education, etc…? Your statement applies to a lot more than Walmart. And our children are dumber than they were a generation ago so why don’t we all focus on the real problem, our failed system of government, instead of trying to simply distract people?
With the kind of money 5hey take in per hour and cant pay the employees enough to live on but I guess that’s because they’re paying Al Sharpton
And furthermore how much is Sharpton getting paid to continue this racist riot acts – courtesy of Walmart — How much are you pauing sharpton – Walmart ???
That is what Capitalism is all about and that is what America is all about…freedom to choose where you work. I get so tired of people complaining about big business…how did they get there? From you buying their products. Shop elsewhere if you don’t like their business practices.
How can you make that jump???
Where is your proof of that statement..quite a leap of you ask me.
