The gun industry came under fire for the crimes of Aurora CO. shooter James Holmes, but things didn’t turn out very well for those taking the shots. The parents of Aurora shooting victim Jessica Ghawi have sued Lucky Gunner and other gun and ammo retailers, hoping to change company policies that allow the selling of guns and ammo on the Internet.
While Lonnie and Sandy Phillips aren’t in the lawsuit for the money, what they’re hoping to accomplish could cripple an industry and has already been met with heavy resistance.

Total hoax
People who don’t carry concealed are partially responsible when crime abounds. We’re we all carrying, we could make violent crime almost non-existent
So, does that mean victims’ families of baseball bat attacks can sue Louisville Slugger? People need to grow up and realize that the tighter gun laws will only disarm the law abiding citizens. Criminals do not, never have, and never will, obey the law. Period.
Frivolous law suit !!!
Hahahaha
They need another law.
Lawyers that try to take cases like this with full knowledge that they will fail should be totally financially liable and have to have their license reviewed as well.
This should be the standard for all civil litigation as it would be a great deterrent against filing these frivolous lawsuits.
Legal costs and insurance contribute to cost increases for goods and services and we need to punish people who are abusing the court system to try and make a fast buck.
How about addressing the real issue, there are alot of mentally screwed up people walking around, no one helps. That is the problem. I am very sorry for your loss, but your suing helps nothing. Address the real issues, quit using politacally correct b.s. trying to solve problems. It is kinda like scrubbing your feet to get your hair clean.
Like the woman in California (of course) who sued MickyD’s for getting her “addicted” to fast food AND her 230# weight gain, she lost.
If anyone should be sued it is the FFL holder that did his transfer paperwork, and that is only if his ATF check came back anything but 100% clean. I wish these anti gun people would learn how the buying process works with an online firearm purchase.
As homosexuals are mentally and/or emotionally disturbed by their very nature, they should be prohibited from owning or possessing guns. Every homosexual in America should have to register and put their name and identifying information in a database. A background check into this registry will ensure that these dangerous, unstable people do not have the ability to harm themselves or others with firearms. It is a win for society and a win for the homosexual community as now every homosexual will be compelled by law to come out of the closet–what a liberating experience for them all.
