Honestly won’t work in a sandy soil I only made 42′ putting in a well but I used a 3″ fire hose hooked to a 15k GPM jet pump (with a diesel cat powering) along a river. Friction is your worst enemy bedrock was my killer.

Be very careful. Know Your local and state Regulations. Kansas is a no hand drill hand dig state to minimize the poisoning of the subteranian water sources. If you do this in kansas you can be fined severely.
