Is it practical to drill your own well? Sure!
With the right know-how and equipment, in the right location you can enjoy your own water.
Why not take control of your water supply?
TheĀ 2 videos that follow will show you, step-by-step how to drill your own well.
Check them out On the Following pages:
This video is not meant for some of you. After putting in your well just put a casing in the ground to keep it from collapsing. Then you can put in a manual pump or electric pump. And why put in your own well if you already have water? How about watering your yard or garden. Most water districts are expensive and water is not very good to drink. We always use bottled water for drinking. And so why not have your own well for the economy of having water for your garden and fruit trees?
WILL IT MATTER…
Uhm….not if you live in most of the U.S. There are laws governing groundwater and it’s acquisition. And if you are already on a public water system, where do you think THEY are getting their water from, and expensive???? Try running your pump, paying for the upkeep and improvements required for less than what you are already paying, to say nothing of the fact that you have now just made it a requirement to have a Backflow prevention device installed at your own expense that is legally required to be tested every year, at your expense, and if your well is ever the conduit to contamination to the groundwater the community uses, you could very well be sued by every neighbor using the water AND depending on the state, could serve time in state or Federal Prison. Just because you can does not mean you should.
