Their is no confidence in government none at all.why? All they want is control, control over us Americans never happen.
I believe there are too many government rules in our lives but one thing the permits are for is to keep people from drilling a well too close to septic tank and lines. Just be smart and do some research and drill in the right location.

If we’re at the point where the government is going to withhold our water, what good is drilling a well? Wouldn’t they just come and take our homes and remove us? These paranoia posts are really out there and funny. .
They ( the local government ) has made it against the law to drill a well around here . There reasoning is they say they cant calculate your sewage bill because they don’t know how much water you use.
In colorado, you have to get a permit, and if you drill and don’t own the water rights it’s theft, they got you coming and going.
