How did we ever survive when the wells were dug by hand…before machines ? Even if the water was not fit to drink, it could be filtered and used to water a garden..
I drilled one exactly like this. But it is for irrigation only, and it is only 38 feet down, and it is in Florida where we have mostly sandy soil. But it is clean water with no smell.
This will work for small amounts of water at a time.. At least in Florida it’s a trickle well and has tanned microbes not fit to drink without purification…I have done it…to get good water you have to punch thru the hard pan…
Haha, a dumbass and his money are soon departed! As soon as you hit rock or gravel kiss your $$$$, time and dignity goodbye. Why do you think intelligent drillers use a variety of bits? What a joke! 😛

OK if you have two hose pipes with water to supply this brilliant idea what do you need a well for DUH
Not sure where they are but I don’t think that will work in NW Arkansas

All the naysayers here are idiots. I did this exact thing to drill a well to get my sprinkler system off of city water. It works great!
Only works where the soil is rock free and water table very close to the surface of the ground…notice the ground its very flat, looks marshy and bet when it rains it floods….
