Problem is that the EPA will lock your $#%&!@* up for doing this…
Or you could just call a well driller that will get you down to a deeper aquifer and install the well correctly.
Im all for finding ways to get off the grid but drilling a well yourself is really a bad idea. If you want one have a professional put it in if it is even good or safe to do it. There is a lot of things happening to the water as it moves underground and disturbing it can cause surface damage and could make you and your family very sick.

Lol I think a lot of comments on this are amusing…probably people that have no experience whatsoever doing this first-hand. While living in Florida we dug our own well in the same basic method for our sprinkler system after putting down new sod. Worked perfectly, and never one had a pressure, or lack of water issue. Kudos to these guys
