@ karen thats why you don’t tell them you have a well. I would tell them to p**s off and show them the highway.
IF They did ever put a meter on it i would pretty much destroy it. can’t meter what they can’t read.
When we were kids, we had to do that! LOL My dad wanted a well, so we had to dig it. It worked, though! No reason why anyone else couldn’t do the same. 😉
My well is about 180 feet deep. Also, I don’t really understand the benefit to a well if you already have running water to hook up to drill one. Seems useless to me. The only way I would need it would be a survival situation. Not so good.
