I was wonder how well this works with flint bedrock 3″ below topsoil.
This works I have seen it done. The one I saw they used iron pipe in 4 foot sections and kept screwing on a new section as needed to drill as deep as needed however it works much better in ground with little or no rocks. I don’t think it would work in rockie soil.
Found mine at 17 ft….
I hit rock then sand but u do need to water witch..don’t just dig….
If water in not available you can haul water in a tank and use a gas powered pump or an electric pump with a generator if power in not available such as a remote deer camp etc.
Won’t work In south west Missouri too many rocks
