Hugh Johnson, I think with all the “water shortages” and the idea that it is illegal to keep the rainwater that falls on your own property, you might have to get an “environmental impact statement” for the EPA before you did this.

Better not get cought! Unless you pay 1000’s for permits and water rig its illegal.. Oregon owns all water even on private land. I thought about this until my neighbor that works for the state warned me of the reprocussions.
Brenda Duncan, no fracking is using high pressure to fracture the bedrock to allow the gas to escape. They also use a lot of very toxic chemicals for various reasons. But no, not the same thing.

It is not legal to put in your own well in Brevard. They demand that you get a permit for it. I was told that the only people who could get a permit were well drilling businesses.
