Lol. By all that is holy….this is only going to work in certain places…where water is shallow…..where the water is deep….that is a whole different matter
I like having my own well.
Sand point shallow wells can be functional. But have the water tested before drinking or using. In our area of central Iowa sand point wells were found to have large quantities of nitrates due to field runoffs. Thus rural water was brought in for safe drinking water.
Just make sure to have the water tested and locate it in a safe spot. May not be legal in town for understandable reasons.

the big problem with that if you live within the city limits in most cities it’s illegal
Have used this method, worked,but much easier to call a well driller.
That might work on the coast –20-30′,and I wouldn’t expect good water
— I drilled 500′ in north Texas , I agree it’s best to have your own well I just don’t believe this would work in most places
GOvernment is planning to meter wells to include privately owned residential wells. This might work when SHTF and you still have water pressure.
