Good luck with that here in O Fallon MO where you need a jack hammer to install a mail box 2′ deep and God knows how far down a water table is could be 200 foot down or more.
And have more dangerous sinkholes.
We have a well in the back room but my husband put pebbles in it. Wasn’t he supposed to just cap it?
I use well water and it has no chemicals and no restrictions. Also is free.
I did this in Florida. Went down 40 feet and we used the water for irrigation.
Is there another video that explains how to build that pipe and explains a little about the water hoses? Seems like a big chunk is missing… goes from digging a hole with a shovel to a guy standing on the back of a pickup, with something that does not look familiar.
He did skip a lot but the rig looks simple. Take a 2 inch sleeve and put 6 inches of pipe in one side and 1 inch reduction insert on the other. Run up an inch or two out of the reducer and put a T, on each side of the T install 2 90’s pointing down and in those put 2 3/4 inch threaded fittings to hook your hoses to. On the end that you installed the 2 inch pvc put a rubber sewer sleeve with a hose clamp. That will let you add pipe as you need. As for the handle he made to turn it with.. use a 2×4 with 2 conduit clamps on one side and a piece of 1 inch black pipe clamped to the other.
R U doin this?
Nice to see this making it’s rounds again

The two water hoses are from two different water supplies. This provides more water flow to wash the mud out. This works well in the south, we have mostly soft dirt. Wouldn’t even attempt it any further north than Atlanta Georgia.
