Donald Trump has called for a pause on immigration into the United States.
No, not just for Muslims, and he’s not talking about illegal immigration either. All immigration, he says, should be halted for at least a year.
This should at least quell the incessant cries from the left that Donald Trump is Islamophobic — it won’t, of course — but regardless, this takes the contentious religion test out of the equation altogether.
It’s a brash move from a man known for his brash moves, and once again is an example of Donald’s commonsense problem solving. While politicians have for years been trying — and failing — to solve the problem of immigration while the issue remained a constant reality, Donald Trump’s call to end immigration until it’s fixed is harsh, but would no doubt be effective.
Perhaps more importantly, Donald’s plan is one the everyday American can understand, and that’s very likely why he and his proposals remain so popular.

Remember… the GOP is now in a panic mode and they are worried about having someone in the White House that they can’t control like a puppet. The good old boys make a lot of money from the lobbyists, and somewhere down the line we always pay for it. Think about it. Why are Rubio and Cruz going after Trump? Why aren’t they going after the Senators that we elected to do a job and who voted to appoint Loretta Lynch and fund ObamaCare and Obama’s Amnesty? Trump has a lot of Republicans on his side… And Many of my old “Democrat” Buddies are solidly behind Trump. Trump has the Democrats and Independents coming across to the Republican Party… And if you think about it… Trump is his own Party… Our Party, not Democrat or Republican.
We need someone who is going to clean up the mess in Washington. Did you ever watch the series “It takes a Thief?” A good thief can make a great detective. The Donald has actually been a lobbyist and knows the ropes. He’ll know what to do!

I lost several cousins and uncles during Vietnam war and I’m glad he found a way out. I don’t hold that against him. Maybe my family would still be here. Last year I lost a good friend thru agent orange. E7 in the Army. He was 70. I used to listen to his stories while he was there. We did speak about people dodging the war.
We both felt the same way. War is hard on the mind and body. He saw young men killed that were not prepared. He always told me that he wished these men would have stayed home. Some people are not meant for War.
Now I like Trump more. Another fact that I didn’t know. It shows he doesn’t like War. Thank you for the information sir.
A year moratorium isn’t enough. Minimum of 5 years at the least and that’s with everything clicking in time. The US is in a huge mess. It won’t be repaired overnight.
