Democrats in California have wasted no time after the Supreme Court ruled that gay marriage is legal in all states to introduce legislation that takes everything to the next level.
California governor Jerry Brown has signed a bill replacing words ‘husband’ and ‘wife’ within state law with the word “spouse” to accommodate same-sex marriage.
I now pronounce you spouse and spouse?

What gives anyone the right to “ban” certain words? There are people who prefer husband and wife. Are they going to make those marriages pronounced with”husband and wife” null and void? Ban these words and those people will sue because you made their marriage null and void. Others will sue because they had to pay for a divorce when your pronouncement would have accomplished the same purpose.
Here’s your first case of the first amendment being eroded just as Canada warned us.
