The restaurant Sneakers Bistro in Local Winooski, Vermont has removed a sign that had the word ‘bacon’ due to Muslim opposition.
In a Facebook post, the restaurant issued the following statement, ““We are here to serve people BREAKFAST, not politics. We removed the sign that was located on public property as a gesture of respect for our diverse community. There were also concerns raised about safety (emphasis added). Removing it was not a difficult decision. We still love bacon. We still love eggs. Please have the political conversation elsewhere.”
Is the ‘safety’ factor the restaurant cited due to their fear of what would happen if they didn’t remove ‘bacon’ from their sign?
Everything offends Muslims and they think that everyone else should abide by their beliefs. This is not the Mid East. Get use to it. By the way, Mosque buildings offend me, are I want you to them down? Will you comply? Thought not. We will not remove any more Bacon signs either.

Blame the owner for giving in! As long as we cater to a few the majority suffers…….Enough is enough!

This is not political it’s religious, and would you have still removed the sign if it were a Jewish person who had complained instead of a Muslim?
