The restaurant Sneakers Bistro in Local Winooski, Vermont has removed a sign that had the word ‘bacon’ due to Muslim opposition.
In a Facebook post, the restaurant issued the following statement, ““We are here to serve people BREAKFAST, not politics. We removed the sign that was located on public property as a gesture of respect for our diverse community. There were also concerns raised about safety (emphasis added). Removing it was not a difficult decision. We still love bacon. We still love eggs. Please have the political conversation elsewhere.”
Is the ‘safety’ factor the restaurant cited due to their fear of what would happen if they didn’t remove ‘bacon’ from their sign?
Why take the sign down? Tell them to not look at it!!!
Well, too bad! Tell those musliims to leave and go to the woods and live there!!
Why does the owner respond in a way be threatened by these hoodlums??
do you still love having free speech, do you still love America or just money. do you have any thoughts outside of what others tell you to do? you serve breakfast not politics? well when the gov. starts shoving their politics down your throats don’t forget your own words and try not to choke on them.
