The restaurant Sneakers Bistro in Local Winooski, Vermont has removed a sign that had the word ‘bacon’ due to Muslim opposition.
In a Facebook post, the restaurant issued the following statement, ““We are here to serve people BREAKFAST, not politics. We removed the sign that was located on public property as a gesture of respect for our diverse community. There were also concerns raised about safety (emphasis added). Removing it was not a difficult decision. We still love bacon. We still love eggs. Please have the political conversation elsewhere.”
Is the ‘safety’ factor the restaurant cited due to their fear of what would happen if they didn’t remove ‘bacon’ from their sign?
Either shut up about sharia or go back where you came from! Easy huh!

This is totally ridiculous! Muslim woman is offended by the word “bacon” on their sign outside the restaurant, and the restaurant takes the sign down?!!! Absurd!
Imagine the reverse situation: being a Christian living in a Muslim dominated country and asking them to take a sign down propagating halal food, because it’s offending you. Yea, sure they will listen and take it down, immediately, right after they take your head down off your body! Why are we bending over backwards for those who hate America! Their nerve to demand for us to change our ways just to appease them and their ways of living is offending to me, Legal American Citizen!
