The restaurant Sneakers Bistro in Local Winooski, Vermont has removed a sign that had the word ‘bacon’ due to Muslim opposition.
In a Facebook post, the restaurant issued the following statement, ““We are here to serve people BREAKFAST, not politics. We removed the sign that was located on public property as a gesture of respect for our diverse community. There were also concerns raised about safety (emphasis added). Removing it was not a difficult decision. We still love bacon. We still love eggs. Please have the political conversation elsewhere.”
Is the ‘safety’ factor the restaurant cited due to their fear of what would happen if they didn’t remove ‘bacon’ from their sign?

Who cares? It was there business and it was on public property. Let’s not forget all the concessions we’ve made in this country for Christians every time they pitch a fit about something. Maybe yaw shouldn’t get so worked up over something meaningless. Try an actual problem, like the monetary system collapsing or the police abusing the people they work for or a pandemic outbreak. Not only does all this anti Muslim rhetoric seem ignorant its used to disguise and obfuscate what’s really going on. If this Facebook page didn’t have some good info on it I would drop it for one less focused on Muslim boodey men.
