The restaurant Sneakers Bistro in Local Winooski, Vermont has removed a sign that had the word ‘bacon’ due to Muslim opposition.
In a Facebook post, the restaurant issued the following statement, ““We are here to serve people BREAKFAST, not politics. We removed the sign that was located on public property as a gesture of respect for our diverse community. There were also concerns raised about safety (emphasis added). Removing it was not a difficult decision. We still love bacon. We still love eggs. Please have the political conversation elsewhere.”
Is the ‘safety’ factor the restaurant cited due to their fear of what would happen if they didn’t remove ‘bacon’ from their sign?

I’ll take it to the streets, but who is going to back me up? Most Americans either are scare, lazy or just plain selfish and won’t protest at all. RISE and fight them!

ill be damned if i would remove my bacon sign if i owned a restaurant…..they can go and eat elsewhere. in fact if they complained i would make the word BACON very much LARGER.
