The restaurant Sneakers Bistro in Local Winooski, Vermont has removed a sign that had the word ‘bacon’ due to Muslim opposition.
In a Facebook post, the restaurant issued the following statement, ““We are here to serve people BREAKFAST, not politics. We removed the sign that was located on public property as a gesture of respect for our diverse community. There were also concerns raised about safety (emphasis added). Removing it was not a difficult decision. We still love bacon. We still love eggs. Please have the political conversation elsewhere.”
Is the ‘safety’ factor the restaurant cited due to their fear of what would happen if they didn’t remove ‘bacon’ from their sign?
How about just feeding them bigs in a blanket??!!

Has nobody heard the outcome of appeasement? We are setting ourselves up for a boatload of trouble. This is the USA, if you do not like bacon, do not eat it. BUT do not take it out of the dictionary, other people’s signage, or other people’s rights!
Just how long are we going to put up with this c**p from foreigners.if you don’t like something stay the hell away from it but leave us alone or GET OUT.
The ignorance AND arrogance on this post is sooo unbelievable, YOU make me feel ashamed to be an American myself! But thankfully, I don’t judge ALL US Americans by what I’m reading here!
