The restaurant Sneakers Bistro in Local Winooski, Vermont has removed a sign that had the word ‘bacon’ due to Muslim opposition.
In a Facebook post, the restaurant issued the following statement, ““We are here to serve people BREAKFAST, not politics. We removed the sign that was located on public property as a gesture of respect for our diverse community. There were also concerns raised about safety (emphasis added). Removing it was not a difficult decision. We still love bacon. We still love eggs. Please have the political conversation elsewhere.”
Is the ‘safety’ factor the restaurant cited due to their fear of what would happen if they didn’t remove ‘bacon’ from their sign?
Who the hell asked them to come over here in the first place . If you dont like our bacon get the hell out of our country go the hell back to where you came from. We dont need you or want you.
The locals should vote with their feet and wallets. Take their business elsewhere.

I definitely say do not patronize the restaurant. They would rather not offend ONE muslim than side with the bacon lovers that are born and raised here! I can’t wait to see their business go out of business because of their stupid choices! Bye bye!! I bet the next owner there puts the bacon sign back out and does an incredible amount of business.
