The restaurant Sneakers Bistro in Local Winooski, Vermont has removed a sign that had the word ‘bacon’ due to Muslim opposition.
In a Facebook post, the restaurant issued the following statement, ““We are here to serve people BREAKFAST, not politics. We removed the sign that was located on public property as a gesture of respect for our diverse community. There were also concerns raised about safety (emphasis added). Removing it was not a difficult decision. We still love bacon. We still love eggs. Please have the political conversation elsewhere.”
Is the ‘safety’ factor the restaurant cited due to their fear of what would happen if they didn’t remove ‘bacon’ from their sign?
Restaurant owner has no guts. My sign = “Pork..eat it or shove it.”
I say screw diversity. those Muslims that came here to America knew we eat bacon. If they don’t like it, they can go back to where they came from. It is unreasonable to expect all of America to not advertise pork and pork products. If you’re offended, too friggin bad.
Sneakers, you’re a wimp with no backbone. I wouldn’t eat there if you were giving your stuff away free.

Oh that’s a great answer. We have respect for the diversity in our people? Who built your business to where it is? Americans or Muslims? Giving in to their whims is why they continue to grow in strength! Even if I lived there. I’d make sure no one in my family ever came in your dam restaurant!
