The restaurant Sneakers Bistro in Local Winooski, Vermont has removed a sign that had the word ‘bacon’ due to Muslim opposition.
In a Facebook post, the restaurant issued the following statement, ““We are here to serve people BREAKFAST, not politics. We removed the sign that was located on public property as a gesture of respect for our diverse community. There were also concerns raised about safety (emphasis added). Removing it was not a difficult decision. We still love bacon. We still love eggs. Please have the political conversation elsewhere.”
Is the ‘safety’ factor the restaurant cited due to their fear of what would happen if they didn’t remove ‘bacon’ from their sign?
Keep the sign up. Let them go somewhere else to eat.
the truth is they do not have to eat it if they do not want to. that is stupid for them to act like thay run every one and every thing
When you allow them into your State, town, etc. just remember, YOU PUT YOURSELF IN DANGER.

By them taking the sign down, they made it political. Dare I say boycott, boycott! This is America and we still can do what we want with our signs and food. Don’t like it, go back to your homeland.
