The restaurant Sneakers Bistro in Local Winooski, Vermont has removed a sign that had the word ‘bacon’ due to Muslim opposition.
In a Facebook post, the restaurant issued the following statement, ““We are here to serve people BREAKFAST, not politics. We removed the sign that was located on public property as a gesture of respect for our diverse community. There were also concerns raised about safety (emphasis added). Removing it was not a difficult decision. We still love bacon. We still love eggs. Please have the political conversation elsewhere.”
Is the ‘safety’ factor the restaurant cited due to their fear of what would happen if they didn’t remove ‘bacon’ from their sign?
I am going to petition the city to name some streets after pork products! Ham Street, Bacon Blvd. Sausage Drive, Pork Circle Chitlin Court, Pork Loin Lane, Pork Roast Road, Spam Street, and last but not least Vienna Sausage Viaduct!
We owe the Muslims NOTHING, not even an explanation. Why are people caving in to them?

As a Muslim if she is offended by a sign that says bacon she should probably put a blanket with eyes slits on her head and get stoned to death next time she pisses a guy off.

Funny How We remove everything that offends Someone or Some Religion. I thought that one of The Freedom s In America was Freedom of Speech!!! I guess They should amend that one to Freedom of Speech except for Americans!!!!
